There was recently an outcry over an advertisement that McDonald’s aired about their Chicken McBites. It stated that eating the food item was “Safer than petting a stray pitt bull”. And people complained.

Seriously? It’s common knowledge that pitt bulls are the most likely to turn on their owners…

I am reblogging this because I want this person’s ignorance spread as far and wide as possible. I mean….wow. The only hope is that such an ardent McDonalds supporter will probably die of heart disease long before any of the innocent pit bulls he/she has just so ignorantly bad-mouthed pass away. Pit only has one T when referring to PIT BULLS, by the way. Not that we’d expect you to realize that given how you are so blatantly misinformed.

The parent poster is full of shit. Pit Bulls are no more likely to attack people than any other breed of dog, that shit is an urban myth.

Not only that but this ad is retarded. What idiot thought it was good marketing strategy to tell consumers that eating their stupid chicken bits is safer than supposedly taking a chance getting attacked by a dog? Who thinks of these things?

What person, when deciding whether or not to buy a fast food item, goes “hmm, those look good but I wonder if eating them is in any way as dangerous as petting an animal that could theoretically bite me?”
